How the calculation works
For an exclusive price, GST equals amount × rate / 100. For an inclusive price, the GST portion is total × rate / (100 + rate).
Example
At ₹1,000 with an 18% GST rate, GST added to the exclusive price is ₹180 and the total is ₹1,180.
